Commissions F.A.Q
When do you open for commissions?
Usually it's completely random and depends on how I feel, mentally and physically. They're usually open on college breaks and if I haven't got deadlines coming soon; so keep an eye out for announcements on FurAffinity, DeviantART, Facebook or Tumblr. I'm also considering making a ping list, where I can e-mail you (and other interested people) when my commissions are open.
On average, how long do you take to finish a commission?
This really depends on circumstances, such as how complicated the commission is, how much other work I need to do around it, etc. Usually (if it's paid) it should be done within a month. If circumstances get it the way that may delay your commission; I will notify you about it.
How can I see the status of my commission?
Click the QUEUE URL at the top of the page, this will take you to my queue; where I list all of the commissions I need to do and the stage they're at. If your commission isn't there you need to notify me, as that means I have mistakenly thought I completed it, or confused it for another. I will also send you an image of the sketch stage of the commission so you can make alterations.
What's the process you go through to complete your commissions?
Once you send me a ref and have paid for the commission, I will start with a few compositional studies then a sketch, I'll send the sketch to you and once your satisfied with what it looks like, I'll line and colour it. Once the commission is completed I'll send you the final image and mark it as complete, then I'll take the money from paypal into my bank account. You may get more (or less) wip's depending on the type of commission, such as a sketch would get less and a character design would be more.
Can you draw [this] / Why won't you draw [this]?
On my Terms of Service page, you will see a list of what I will and won't draw. Although I have the right to decline even if it's on the list, this is probably due to personal reasons that I'd rather not talk about, or I may feel uncomfortable with the subject for any reason. Please don't ask me why unless I already tell you!
I don't like my commission, can you re-do it or give me a refund?
As these are traditional commissions, there is no way I can edit a commission after the sketch stage (unless it's minor changes). When I send you the sketch, that is when you ask for changes; I will only give you a refund if the picture isn't complete or almost complete. If you want me to re-do it after it is already finished, you may have to pay for a completely new commission unless I feel that it was genuinely my fault that it's not what you want. (if I get the colours completely wrong, despite you telling me etc.) Minor mistakes such as getting a certain marking, or colour a little off from the ref will not get a redo, due to this being traditional (traditional mediums can be unpredictable, and irreversible).
